very little play

After a break in the weather a 1.15 start was scheduled but more rain arrived prompting a very early tea but persistent rain meant no play was possible. Both teams pick up four points and Selby travel to Easingwold II on Saturday.

In Division Three the second team did manage to start at Hemingbrough and after skipper Gareth Harvey won the toss he asked the home side to bat first and there was there was an early wicket for Luke Berzins. Left arm pace bowler Richard Waterton grabbed a couple of wickets before the rain ended proceedings in the 10th over with Hemingbrough on 20-3. Selby are at home to Whitkirk II on Saturday.
